Our History

Important Historical
Milestones Of Our Food Market

A Fourteen-Year Journey of Empowerment
It started as Merry-Go-Rounds, where village women could save from the little left to them for daily household budgets through groups, and hand over the lamb sum to a member, one after the other. But today, the concept has evolved to table banking, which has seen women from poor regions engage in meaningful money generating activities. able banking is a group funding strategy where members of a particular group meet once every month, place their savings, loan repayments and other contributions on the table then borrow immediately either as long term or short term loans to one or a number of interested members.
