Our Mandate

Gender Based Violence

Through life changing opportunities such as 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. It is breathtaking to learn that men and boys have come to embrace the efforts taken by KWEN and its stakeholders in stopping gender-based violence through community sensitization campaigns.

Economic Empowerment

We strive to empower all the community groups with a bias to the youth and women as well as People with Disabilities. Working with women groups (CBOs) and Faith Based Organizations, we build capacity for the members of these informal groups to be able to achieve economic freedom.

Education for Sustainable Development

Working with the Institute for Sustainability and development at the David Yellin College in Israel, we focus on creating local solutions for local people. Anchoring on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a chapter of the United Nations growth agenda and mainstreamed to the Africa Vision 2063, we dedicate our time and resources towards sustainable projects.

Primary Health Care

Working with the ministry of Health and the stakeholders including the National AIDS Control Council and National STDs and STIs Control Programme (NASCOP), we identify the cases of our attention. With stakeholders in the community, we encourage all our groups to be formally registered with the various CACC coordinators from each sub county.
